Abstract

Solar energy is a renewable energy which is quite abundant and can also be used as electricity. The purpose of this study is to harness that energy and store it for later use. By keeping this energy in excess and causing damage to the storage device. The working principle of this device is by regulating the incoming and outgoing current to the battery according to the capacity of the battery so that no damage occurs. This research is focused on increasing thecurrent from the battery charger control unit outputand stabilizing the output voltage by using the LM338 IC which can increase the current by 5 Ampere per IC so that it can maximize the incoming current in the battery and maximize the PV power used.
