Abstract

Riau Islands is an archipelago that has several islands and even more sea areas than the mainland. Extensive waters affect the livelihoods of the population, especially in the village of Teluk Kriting, namely as fishermen. Fishermen when searching for fish are greatly influenced by wind speed. Weather conditions such as wind speed and erratic sea waves, make it difficult for fishermen. The lack of knowledge about the influence of wind speed, making their performance is not optimal. Changes in weather affect wind speeds that can have an impact on the community, especially traditional fishermen who sail every day without paying attention to the weather so that the catch is not optimal. This research was conducted using the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Algorithm, because the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Algorithm can calculate fluctuating values that are relatively shorter and can also produce output with a high degree of accuracy. Tsukamoto's fuzzy algorithm in general has stages including determining the membership function, then determining the rules applied. The Tsukamoto Fuzzy Algorithm used is the Center Average Defuzzifier method. The conclusion obtained from this study is the use of Fuzzy Logic with Tsukamoto's Fuzzy Algorithm can determine the status of wind conditions and ambient temperature.
