Abstract

Solar energy is one of the alternative energy sources that can be utilized for electrical energy sources. One of the tools used to measure the intensity of solar radiation is the pyranometer. The purpose of this study was to produce solar radiation sensors using phototransistors and to find out the sensitivity of the sensors that had been designed. This research device consists of measurements of solar radiation. The characterization of the solar radiation sensor that has been designed is the sensitivity of the sensor is 2.98 mA/(W/m2) to 3.18 mA/(W/m2).
