Abstract

Water waves are movements of ups and downs of water that are perpendicular to Earth's gravity. Purpose this research to design a instrument for measuring wave height in lab. The sensor can measure with precision Wave height measured by pressure sensors. Result depth test obtained the standard deviation of 0,118 cm. sensor can measure depth precetion. Wave height processed by the zero crossing analysis method. Result wave height in wave simulator obtained wave height between 0,81 cm to 6,73 cm.
