Abstract

Each year the sun is exposed to radiation with an average per day of 4.8 kwh / m². Indonesian has begun the development of using solar panels to become a source of electricity starting from individuals, agencies, and companies, before solar panels are implemented directly, sunlight should be simulated using a sun simulator. The method used is the distance and lamp method used metal halide simulation, the panel used thin film 90 wp, the results of the characterization are on the thin film 90wp V_in 44,5Vt, V_out 16.43V, current 0.473A and power 7,72W.
