Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out some of the shortcomings of clients who need an immediate application that can display and manage cafe finances and attendance through a website-based application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, so as to enable users to improve performance in time efficiency and efficiency. cafe employee work effectiveness. The reason why the author took the title is because of the cafe owner's request to the author to create a system that can manage transactions and a system that can perform employee attendance and payroll. Therefore, researchers use the RAD method as an application design to design sales and employee attendance designs sincerely coffee. This research is a quantitative research. To get the data, the researcher used observation and interview techniques. However, the object of this research is more on the process that requires the RAD method in the application of the sales and attendance management system. To measure the results of making the application, researchers measure it by the development period and the stages of the RAD method with the aim of determining user requirements. From this research it can be said that RAD is the right model to increase the time in software development. Based on the Black Box Testing that has been carried out, all application features almost meet the initial design criteria and are acceptable and the functions in the application run properly.
