Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID 19) is a challenge due to phenomenon it can cause silent hypoxia, where patient with low oxygen saturation but shows no respiration symptoms and no dyspnea. Because patient does not experience any infection symptoms, early detection is required to get medical attention as soon as possible by monitoring the patient’s condition in real time with measuring the oxygen saturation level. Pulse oxymetri is a noninvasive and painless test that measure oxygen saturation level in the blood. However some of the existing pulse oximetry are not equipped with communication capabilities and consequently, the contionous monitoring of patient health is restricted. The purpose of this research was to design a tool capable of measuring the IOT-based pulse and oxygen saturation that can be monitored using smartphone/ PC. Display monitoring interface using Ubidot. This system is equipped with a MAX30100 sensor for measuring pulse and oxygen saturation. The results of this study were obtained pulse and oxygen saturation data. This study shows that the device is capable of measuring the pulse value with an average accuracy rate of 99,65 % and measuring oxygen saturation of 99,40 %. The ratio of data transmission to Ubidot in the test was 99,81 %
