Abstract

A navigation system using satellite technology that can receive signals from satellites, namely the Global Positioning System (GPS). The use of GPS NEO 8M in this study was used to determine the ability of GPS NEO 8M to read altitude, especially in open areas such as to determine sea level in Tanjungsiambang, Dompak. The result of the trial of this device is the creation of an instrument measuring sea level using GPS NEO 8M and this device is able to measure sea level in the waters of Tanjungsiambang, Dompak by GPS NEO 8M.
