Abstract

Telecommunication technology is currently developing very rapidly marked by the development of communication systems starting from the first generation to the next generation, namely the latest 4G network technology or Long Term Evolution (LTE). The drive test method is an outdoor measurement using a vehicle to observe real area conditions. The development of Smartphone technology currently makes it easy to do a drive test using the G-Net Track Pro Application. The initial stage of the research is conducting a field survey and distributing questionnaires, then determining the operators to be used, namely Smartfren, Telkomsel, and XL-Axiata. Next determine the location of the route to do a test drive. Measurements were carried out in Siantan District, Anambas Islands Regency with the measured parameters, namely: RSRP. The measurement results show that the RSRP parameters of XL-Axiata and Smartfren operators are worse than those of Telkomsel operators. The average value of Xl-Axiata Operators is -126.8 dBm, Smartfren -119.9 dBm, and Telkomsel -102.2 dBm.
