ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN UNTUK MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ELEKTRONIK PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN SETS PADA MATERI LAJU REAKSI
The weakness of the learning process makes it difficult for students to accept and understand learning. This is due to the teacher who in the learning process is still in the form of lectures, questions and answers, and discussions which make students not enthusiastic and less focused in participating in learning so that student learning outcomes are low, especially in the material reaction rate. The use of instructional media in the learning process is one solution that can be used to produce optimal learning outcomes and can reduce the burden on teachers in teaching. The purpose of this study was to analyze the students' needs for the use of electronic learning media for snake and ladder games using the SETS approach to the reaction rate material. The data collection technique was carried out by observing 32 students and interviewing one chemistry teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the interview were: the use of instructional media in SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang was still lacking, the learning process was carried out by lecturing, question and answer and discussion methods and the instructional media used by the teacher in the form of textbooks, LKPD, and modules. Thus the need to develop electronic learning media for the snake and ladder game using the SETS approach to the material on reaction rates, in order to increase students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn.
