PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII PADA MATERI SISTEM PERNAPASAN MANUSIA DI MTS NEGERI TANJUNGPINANG

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Discovery learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students on the Human Respiratory System material in MTS NEGERI TANJUNGPINANG. The method used is Pre-Experimental. Posttest Design Control Group Design. This research involved students of class VIII MTS Negeri Tanjungpinang in the academic year 2020-2021. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques with multiple choice test questions (25 questions). Data analysis for the normality test used the SPSS version 22 application through the Kolmogrov Smirnov test while hypothesis examiners used the SPSS version 22 application through the sample t test. The results showed that the application of discovery learning model had a significant effect on the Sig. (2-tailed) 0.157> 0.05. Based on the results it can be concluded that learning using the Discovery Learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of MTS Negeri Tanjungpinang.
