NILAI BUDAYA DALAM NOVEL BUMI MANUSIA KARYA PRAMOEDYA ANANTA TOER

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cultural values ​​that exist in the novel. The object of this research is novel. The research is focused on issues related to cultural values ​​in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. This research uses a qualitative approach. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself. To capture the data needed, researchers used reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was performed using qualitative techniques. The steps include (1) data reduction (2) data presentation (3) verification. The results showed that the cultural values ​​in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer are (1) cultural values ​​in the relationship between humans and God (2) cultural values ​​in human relations with nature. (3) cultural values ​​in human relations with society (4) cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans (5) cultural values ​​in human relations with oneself.
