ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN KATA BAKU PADA IKLAN BARIS KORAN EDISI JANUARI 2021

Abstract

This researcher aims to describe the error in usingĀ  standard words in the January 2021 edition of the newspaper classifieds. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, namely the method used to systematically describe the facts and characteristics of the object to be studied. As for the object of this research are the January 2021 edition of the Tanjungpinang Pos newspaper, the January 2021 edition of the Batam Post newspaper and the January 2021 edition of the Tribun Batam newspaper. The data collection technique used in this study was the documentation technique. The results of this study indicate that in the January 2021 edition of the Tanjungpinang Pos newspaper there are 34 errors in the use of non-standart words, the errors are in the writing of foreign letters that should not be standardized into Indonesia and there are 4 standard words in classified ads. In the January 2021 edition of the Batam Pos newspaper there are 15 errors in the use of non-standard words. That error is found in foreign letter writers that should not have been made into Indonesia and there are 3 standard words in classified ads. Tribun Batam newspaper in the January 2021 edition of 17 errors in non-standard words, the errors are in the writing of foreign letters which should not be standardized into Indonesia and there are 6 standard word in classified advertisements.
