KEMAHIRAN MENULIS RANGKUMAN TEKS LAPORAN HASIL OBSERVASI SISWA KELAS VII SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA NEGERI 3 BINTAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021

Abstract

This study aims to describe the proficiency of students writing a summary of the text of the observation report. This type of research is descriptive quantitative by using written test techniques, namely the test of writing a summary of the text of the observation report on grade VII students of State Junior High School 3 Bintan. The population in this study was 207 grade VII students of State Junior High School 3 Bintan. The samples in this study were 64 students. The results of this study stated the ability to write a summary of the text of the observation report of grade VII students of State Junior High School 3 Bintan Year 2020/2021 with an overall average score of 51.40 with the predicate category "Less". Based on the indicator of assessment of the structure of the summary text of the observation report obtained an average score of 40.93 with the category of predicate "Less Once", the indicator of language characteristic assessment of the term summary text of the observation report obtained an average score of 64.68 with the category of predicate "Sufficient", standard word language assessment indicators summary text observation results report obtained an average score of 75.31 with the category predicate "Enough", indicators of sentence assessment definitions summary text observation results report obtained an average score of 10.31 with the category predicate "Less Once", and indicators of sentence assessment classification summary text of the observation report obtained an average score of 14.68 with the category predicate "less once".
