ANALISIS KOMPARATIF GAYA BAHASA DALAM NOVEL RINDU DAN TENTANG KAMU KARYA TERE LIYE

Abstract

The research aims to describe the comparative style of language in Tere Liye's novel Rindu and About You. The research instrument used in the research is tere Liye's novel Rindu and About You. Descriptive type of research using qualitative approach. From the results of the study found the style of language, metonimia, personification, disfemism, antonomasia, synesthesia, litotes, cynicism, hyperbole, allegory, metaphor, association, allusion, depersification, sarcasm, anthropomorphism,simile, symbolic, aptronim, synekdok, and comparative language style research results in the novel Longing and About You the existence of stylistic similarities used i.e. style personification, depersonification, antonomasia, hyperbole, association, cynicism, synesthesia, sarcasm, anthropomorphism. The difference is that in the novel Rindu uses the style of metonimia, disfemism, litotes, allegory, metaphor, alusio while the novel About You is not found that style of language, in the novel About You use the style of simile language, symbolic, aptronim, sinekdok while the novel Rindu is not found.
