Abstract

The implementation of teaching materials developed by teachers according to the needs of students is still lacking. Meanwhile, it is known that the development of teaching materials by teachers can have a good impact because it can map appropriately what is needed by students. Therefore, this study aims to develop one of the teaching materials, namely module that based of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with a valid maritime context in elevent grade on linear program material. The research data was collected by means of a questionnaire method with research instruments, which are divided into the material expert validation sheet, media expert and linguist. Then analyzed from qualitative data which was transformed first into quantitative data with Method of Summated Ratings (MSR). The results of this validity study state is the module that been developed is valid with an average value of the material aspect is 80,72 in the very valid category, the media aspect is 79,29 with the valid category and the language aspect is also declared valid with an average value 66,83.
