ANALISIS UNSUR INTRINSIK PADA CERITA FANTASI DALAM MAJALAH BOBO EDISI JANUARI – JULI 2020

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the intrinsic elements contained in fantasy stories in January - July 2020 issue of Bobo magazine regarding themes, plot, characters and characterizations, settings, and mandates. The method used in this research was descriptive-qualitative. The data source of this research was taken from eight fantasy stories in the January-July 2020 edition of Bobo magazine. In analyzing the data, the researcher reads all eight fantasy stories and analyzes and records the intrinsic elements contained in the story. Based on the results of research, the themes used in fantasy stories in Bobo magazine are kindness, remorse, magic or supernatural, greed, devotion to parents, revenge, and friendship. The eight fantasy stories in Bobo magazine uses a forward flow. There are generally two types of figures present in this fantasy story, namely the protagonist and the antagonist. The mandate contained in this fantasy story is wise advice, such as that goodness is contagious and goodness makes people accepted as is, before borrowing other people's belongings it is better to ask permission first, don't judge someone only from the outside, grateful for what we have today, that greed for something will not produce something good, that if you act first think of the consequences, that every ability or talent we have must also be used responsibly, and be yourself because true friends will accept you for who you are.
