PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO TUTORIAL PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI KOROSI

Abstract

In the 2013 Curriculum the learning activities emphasized the scientific approach. Many technic or models of learning that can be used by teachers in the application of a scientific approach, one of them is the Problem Based Learning model. One type of media that can be used is learning video. The purpose of study the feasibility and practicality of video tutorial media applying the Problem Based Learning model on corrosion material. This research a type 4D development model that is define, design, development and disseminate. But the authors limit this research to the development stage. The video tutorial validated by material expert and media expert.. The test of product by questionnaire and method used to analyze the data were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The result of study show that: 1) The design of video tutorial media development uses 4D design. 2) The feasibility of video tutorial media in terms of material validation is 87,5% with very valid category without revision and media validation of 91,66% with very valid category. 3) The feasibility of video tutorial media in terms of practicality tests obtained results of 82,46% with very practical category for practicality test by teachers and 83,34% with very practical category for practicality test by student. Based on the result of research it can be concluded that the video tutorial media applying the Problem Based Learning model on corrosion material is very feasible and practical to be used in the learning process.
