Abstract

This research aims to categorize the results of validation of an electronic module that integrated by multiple representation on chemical bonding. The research approach that used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Validity data collection of the electronic module was measured using a validation questionnaire that has been declared valid based on the results of the assessment by a team of experts. An electronic module was validated by 2 people, namely chemistry teacher of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang and lecturer of Chemistry Education Department FKIP UMRAH. The results of the validation of content expert on the electronic module are for the content eligibility aspect was 93% with a very valid category, the presentation aspect was 96% with a very valid category, and linguistic aspects was 95% with a very valid category. Then the results of the validation of media expert on the electronic module are for the module size aspect was 80% categorized valid, the module cover design aspect was 80% with a valid category, and the module content design aspect was 86% with a very valid category. The average results of the validation of content and media expert on the electronic module that integrated by multiple representation on chemical bonding are 93% and 82% with very valid criteria and are worth testing out to teachers and students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the electronic module that integrated by multiple representation on chemical bonding is valid to be used in the learning process.
