Abstract

This research aimed to describe the students’ critical thinking skills in mathematic who study with model of realistic mathematics education in Indonesia. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research was all students of class X MIA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang in the academic year of 2019/2020. The data collection was performed using instruments in the form of test the ability of critical thinking mathematically on the material systems of linear equations quadratic two variables. The results of this research obtained that the mathematical critical thinking ability of students if measured based on indicators are in the category of very high, high, and low. While overall students' mathematical critical thinking skills are in the very high category.
