Abstract

This study aims to know the influence of student learning outcomes material on the human digestive system. This study only assesses the cognitive realm of students. The research was implemented in SMP Negeri 10 Tanjungpinang 2019/2020 academic year. This research used quasi-experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The dependent variable in this study is student learning outcomes and the independent variable in this study is the role playing model. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII.2 as the control class and VIII.4 as the experimental class with 65 students. The sample of the study taken using purpose sampling. Data collected with cognitive values that is pretest and posttest. The material is taught the human digestive system by doing story lines to play roles. The collected data was analyzed using t test and descriptive statistics. The results of the study using the t test showed that is the role playing model had a significant influence of student learning outcome on the material of the human digestive system.
