PENGARUH ICE BREAKING TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 3 BINTAN

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the influence of ice breaking on student interest in learning science in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bintan. The reason for taking this title previously been teaching researchers use ice breaking, but do not see the interest in student learning when taught using ice breaking. Therefore, researchers use ice breaking to determine whether there is influence of ice breaking student interest. The research is a quasi-experiment. To get the data, researchers using observation and questionnaires. The sample in this research is class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bintan. To measure the students' interest in learning alternative researchers used four scores on the questionnaire, after which the data is processed to find the average value of student interest using a statistical deskripsif. Then to determine the classification criteria used measurement result based on the average standard deviation of the ideal and the ideal. From the results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T test obtained that sig. smaller than α which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected.
