STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY MASTERY IN NARRATIVE TEXT: AN ANALYSIS STUDY
This research aimed to know students’ vocabulary mastery. The form of this study is descriptive qualitative research. This research intended to find out students’ vocabulary mastery in narrative text. The subject of the study was the 8th grade of SMP Hang Tuah Tanjungpinang. The technique that the researcher used is descriptive analysis technique. During this research the researcher also attempts to investigate students’ vocabulary mastery. The fill in the blank test, the test used as additional instrument. Based on the result, the students categorized into average to good level. It can be seen from the mean score of the students was 62 from 20 students.
