KEMAHIRAN BERPIDATO SECARA EKSTEMPORAN MAHASISWA HIMA PBSI PERIODE 2019/2020 PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN BAHASA INDONESIA FAKULTAS KEGURUAN DAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS MARITIM RAJA ALI HAJI

Abstract

This study aims to describe the extemporaneous speaking skills of HIMA PBSI students in the 2019/2020 Period Indonesian Language Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of HIMA PBSI (Indonesian Language and Literature Education Student Association) 2019/2020 period. Purposive sampling technique. The number of research samples is 15 students. Researchers use data collection techniques such as observation and recording. The results showed that the excellence of extemporaneous HIMA PBSI student speeches for the 2019/2020 period of the Indonesian Language Study Program faculty of education and education at the Raja Ali Ali Hajj maritime university in good information with an average value of 80.07. The description of the percentage of the score results is obtained 4 students data or as many as 26.6% get grades 85-100 with very good information. Then 7 students or 46.6% get 75-84 grades with good information, and 4 students or 26.6% get 60-74 grades with enough information. Based on the results of the study showed that the speech skills of HIMA PB students in the 2019/2020 period of the Indonesian Language Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Raja Ali Haji University were of good quality.
