Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe the efficacy of the open study model of open study with the ability to text students of viii in the first middle school of the country 10 percent of the year 2019/2020. The model for open issues isa study that offers problems with dissolving and solutions to differing ways. The population in this study is the eighth grade student of the country's first high school 10 tanjungpinang lesson year 2019/2020. The sample in this study is over 62 students retrieved by an technique simple random sampling. Sample quantity taken using a slovin formula. The method used in this research is pra-eksperiment one group pretest-posttest.The results of this study show that the use of open study for the "moderate" text skills while pretesting skills can be viewed from the average of 64.5, whereas the posttest skills of persuasion text can be treated with a "good" B. So based on calculations in n-gain, the researcher gains a percentage by 13.9%, while based on a 13.9% < 40% tables interpretation. It means (hi) rejected and (ho) accepted. Thus no amount of effectiveness to the model open study of the problems of open study can be used to text persuasion students of the eighth grade of the country's first high school 10 students. But there was a difference between the test and posttest researchers of the eighth grade in the country's first 10 students.
