Abstract

This study aims to describe the persuasion sentences and the structure of persuasion sentences in the Instagram account @kulinertanjungpinang and their implementation in Indonesian Language learning in junior high school level. The persuasion sentence in the @kulinertanjungpinang instagram account is then implemented as an example of teaching material in Indonesian language learning at the junior high school grade VIII in odd semester on the subject matter of advertisements, slogans, and posters. The object of research is a sentence in the form of a caption / photo description uploaded in the @kulinertanjungpinang instagram account which starts from November 2018 to February 2019. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The data analysis technique used is the content analysis technique. The results obtained were 16 persuasive sentences in the @kulinertanjungpinang instagram account which then the sentence structure was analyzed and implemented in Indonesian language learning in the subject matter of advertisements, slogans, and posters.
