Abstract

This study aimed to determine the needs of learning biology. This descriptiveresearch uses method to collect data. The teacher and student of senior high schools are participated in this study. The results showed that the needs analysis includes the analysis of curriculum, learning objective,material subject, and studentThe curriculum used at senior high school is the 2013 curriculum. The learning objective consist operational verb of PQ4R component. The material that is suitable to be integrated with PQ4R model is the virus. Student need other resource learning, for example student worksheet and also excited with biology learning oriented PQ4R.
