ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TERINTEGRASI STEM PADA MATERI SISTEM RESPIRASI

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the needs of teachers and students in developing learning media on STEM integrated on the respiratory system materials. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this study was a biology education teacher at SMA Negeri 5 Tanjungpinang and 5 students of class XI. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of the results of interviews and looking for the average results of user questionnaires which are then described qualitatively. The results of data collection indicate that (1) the limitations of the existing learning media at SMA Negeri 5 Tanjungpinang (2) the teachers are constrained in developing electronic learning media in accordance with the times due to lack of innovation in developing (3) the existing media has not been varied (4) material respiratory system STEM integrated is not fully studied,, students are required to learn independently. Based on interviews and needs questionnaires, teachers and students need a variety of learning media that can help the learning process in STEM integrated respiratory system material which is very broad and difficult to understand, so that learning can be fully studied by students with the help of learning media. The expected learning media is electronic learning media that is easily accessible anywhere.
