This study aims to determine the use of semiotics on icons, indexes and symbols in the Tradition of Delivery in Tanjungpinang Malay Traditional Weddings, Riau Islands. The research method used is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by observation, recording, note-taking and interview techniques to look for items including icons, indexes and symbols, then using the data as material for analysis. The data analysis technique is carried out by content analysis by taking notes that produce field notes, collecting data, and thinking, by making the data categories have meaning. The items studied included Betel Tepak, potpourri, dowry, a set of prayer utensils, cut cloth, make-up tools, fruits, bags, sandals, umbrellas, cakes. The results of the analysis of data obtained from semiotics in the Tanungpinang Malay Traditional Marriage Tradition in the Riau Archipelago found the use of the meaning of icons, indices, and symbols.
