Abstract

This research is motivated to find the moral values contained in the film Gundala by Joko Anwar. This study aims to describe the moral values contained in the film Gundala by Joko Anwar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis method. The data collection technique is documentation in the form of character speech. The data analysis technique was carried out with content analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, the researchers found the types of moral values from the theoretical concept of Susilawati, et al (2010:109-114) in Joko Anwar's Gundala film, namely: Honesty is found in the dialogues of supporting figures, namely a security officer, Ganda, a pickpocket and a worker's wife. factory. The willingness to take responsibility is found in the dialogue of the main and supporting characters, namely Sancaka, Sancaka's father, the wife of a factory worker, a printing boss, and Wulan. Moral independence is found in the main and supporting characters, namely Sancaka's father, Dirga, and Ridwan. Moral courage is found in the dialogue of the main and supporting characters, namely Sancaka's father, Sancaka, fellow factory workers, grandfather, and Ridwan. Humility is found in the dialogues of Dirga, Sancaka, and Ridwan. Authentic values are found in the dialogues of the main and supporting characters, namely Sancaka and Awang. Realistic and critical are found in the dialogues of the main and supporting characters, namely Sancaka's father, Ridwan, Awang, politicians, and factory bosses
