Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the quality of the final exam questions for even semester Indonesian subjects for class VII State Junior High School 16 Bintan for the 2020/2021 academic year. This is done because the test questions have not been validated so that the quality of the questions has not been tested for validity. The population is 165 students with a sample of 62 students taken using simple random sampling technique. The research method used is a mixed method that combines quantitative and qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. The results showed that based on the level of difficulty, there were 3 questions rejected because they were very difficult, 30 questions were accepted, and 17 questions were rejected because they were very easy. For discriminating power, 15 questions were rejected because they were unable to distinguish between high and low groups and 35 questions were accepted for the difference. Then there are 9 questions with all distractors functioning and 41 questions with non-functioning distractors, so revisions need to be made, while the distribution of the cognitive domain has 25 questions, C1 has 25 questions, C2 has 2 questions, C3 has 17 questions, C4 has 1 question, C5 has 5 questions, and there are no questions in the cognitive domain of C6.
