This study aims to describe the value of character education in the film Jembatan Pencil by Hasto Broto. This is motivated by the number of films being shown today that do not build character formation and development in children. Therefore, this film can be a spectacle reference for children because it contains many positive character values to help the formation and development of children. The approach and type of research used is the type of document research (document research). This research data collection technique is in the form of a note-taking technique. Based on the results and data collection carried out by researchers, data obtained as many as 17 types of character education values consisting of religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendly, fond of reading, social care , Responsibility, care for the environment, love for the homeland, democracy, And the spirit of nasionalism.
