Abstract

This study aims to describe the value of character education in the collection of anecdotal books “Lucu-Lucu Tokoh Dunia†by Isa An. Tamami. The object of this research is a collection of anecdotal textbooks “Lucu-Lucu Tokoh Dunia†by Isa An. Tamami. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method, which describes a symptom, event, event that occurs whose results are presented in the form of a research report. The research instrument is the researcher himself. In addition, other tools in this research or stationery and books that’s support the research conducted. The data collection technique in this research was the form of documentation technique. The result obtained are the findings of 11 data containing the value of character education. The values of character education found in this study, namerly religious values, tolerance, creativity, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendly or communicative, fond of reading, democracy, love of peace, social care, and responsibility.
