ANALISIS SEMIOTIK MANTRA DESA BERINDAT KECAMATAN SINGKEP PESISIR KABUPATEN LINGGA KEPULAUAN RIAU

Abstract

This study aims to describe the semiotic form of the mantra found in Berindat Village, Singkep Pesisir District, Lingga Regency, Riau Archipelago. The object of research is the mantra of love and self-protection of the Berindat Village community which was obtained from informants. This research method is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and recording. Data analysis techniques were carried out with data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the analysis of the data obtained from the semiotic analysis of the mantra of Berindat Village, Singkep Pesisir District, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands, namely the love spell and self-determination spell, found the use of semiotic types of icons, indexes, and symbols
