Abstract

The low interested in student learning becomes one of the factors of low learning outcomes of students in SMAN 5 Tanjungpinang. This study aimed to know the effect cooperative learning model with teams games tournament type the use of Narrative Puzzle media learning outcomes and student learning interest. The population of this study as many as 332 students and the samples of study are 60 students. Learning result data was analyzed using t-test through SPSS 22 application. The research method used was quasi experiment. Based on the results of data analysis of student learning outcomes show that the average value of experimental class for 74, while the control class for 72. Hypothesis tested of learning outcomes and student learning interests used Polled Variance. Data of student learning result obtained significant value 0.009 < 0.05. Because the value of sig <  sig it can be concluded that the use of Narrative Puzzle  learning media combined with cooperative learning model type teams games tournament have an effect on student learning outcomes SMAN 5 Tanjungpinang. While for the interest of learning data, obtained sig value 0.00 < 0.05. Because the significant value was smaller than the significant level, it can be concluded that the used of Narrative Puzzle learning media combined with cooperative learning model of teams games tournament has an influence on the interest of students in SMAN 5 Tanjungpinang.
