DESKRIPSI ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF PADA MATERI PLANTAE BERWAWASAN KEMARITIMAN

Abstract

This study discusses needs analysis in developing interactive multimedia as a learning medium for teachers and students in high school. Needs analysis is carried out through literature studies and field studies. The purpose of this study was to analyze the requirements needed when developing interactive multimedia on Plantae material. The model in this study is the Plomp model (2013) which has three stages, that is Preliminary research,  development stages, and assessment stages. The needs analysis phase includes 1) media availability analysis, 2) material analysis, and 3) student analysis. A needs analysis was carried out in the initial assessment phase using interview and observation sheet instruments. The results of the needs analysis show that 1) the media available in schools are still not varied, but teachers and students have used learning media, 2) the concept of Plantae material is a material that is quite difficult and dense, so we need media that can optimize the delivery of concepts in a short time. and inserting maritime insights to attract students' attention, 3) students need interesting learning media such as interactive multimedia. Based on the results of the analysis, it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline on Plantae material to make it easier for teachers and students in learning activities.
