KRITIK SOSIAL DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN PILIHAN KOMPAS 2019: MEREKA MENGEJA LARANGAN MENGEMIS

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of social criticism in the collection of short short stories that are selected by Kompas 2019: They Spelled the Prohibition of Begging. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method and uses a sociological approach to literature. The data collection technique used is the document technique. The data analysis technique was carried out with content analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of data obtained from the collection of short stories that were selected by Kompas 2019: They Spelled the Prohibition of Begging contained social criticism of the problem of poverty (economics), social criticism of crime problems, social criticism of religious and belief issues, social criticism of political issues, and social criticism of education issues.
