Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how the development of interactive PPT multimedia based on edutainment in social arithmetic material for grade VII SMP is valid. This type of research is Research and Development with a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). However, this research was only conducted until the Develop stage, which is validating the product internally by the validators. This is because the Covid-19 Pandemic has made the learning process at school not run properly. The analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative through a questionnaire. The research instruments used were peer assessment sheets and expert validation sheets. The data obtained from the validation sheet is qualitative data which is then converted into quantitative data using msr calculations. The validated results from 3 validators showed that the product in the form of interactive PPT multimedia developed was declared valid and suitable for use with an average percentage of 73.20%.
