Abstract

Sei Pulai Reservoir is a collection container on Bintan Island which is used as the main raw water source in the PDAM Tirta KEPRI. This reservoir has used air volume depreciation that can affect the existing biota specifically for fish. The purpose of this study was to study fish and physical and chemical parameters in the litoral zone in the Sei Pulai reservoir. This research was conducted for three months (February-April 2019) with a purposive sampling method. Samples taken there are three parts, namely, the inlet (points 1-5), the middle (points 6-8), and the outlet (points 9 and 10) using a mesh size of 3 cm and a drain with a mesh 0.5 cm. The results of the study found 5 types of fish namely, tilapia fish (Oreochromis mossambicus), seluang fish (Rasbora argyrofaenia), lead head fish (Aplocheilus panchax), putak fish (Notopterus-notopterus), and tiger stripes (Pentius tetrazona). The type of fish found is most from the family cyprinidae. The index to the highest variety at the inlet point and the lowest at the outlet point. for three months in the waters of the Sei Pulai reservoir it has a moderate level of uniformity.
