Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of leadership, motivation, training and
work experience on the work productivity of employees at the Department of
Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Riau Island Province. The population in this
study were 90 people at the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Riau
Island Province. Sampling with saturated technique, the number of samples was
90 people. This type of research is quantitative research. In the questionnaire, the
validity and reliability tests were carried out. Data were analyzed using multiple
linear regression analysis, including t test, f test and coefficient of determination.
The results showed that partially the variables of leadership (X1), Motivation
(X2), Training (X3) and Work experience (X4) had a significant effect on work
productivity, the result of the f test obtained an f value of 22.133 with a value of f
table 2.48 identifying that the variables of leadership, motivation, training and
work experience simultaneously have a significant effect on work productivity
variables (Y). Based on the coefficient of determination test, about 48.7% of work
productivity variables are influenced by leadership, motivation, training and work
experience variables. The remaining 51.3% is influenced by other factors that are
not explained in this study.
