Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of production value of sea water aquaculture fisheries, fresh water aquaculture fisheries and capture fisheries on the Gross Regional Domestic Products of the fisheries sector in Bintan Regency in 2013-2018. The population of this research is the Sub-Districts in Bintan Regency which publish data on the production value of sea water aquaculture, fresh water aquaculture and capture fisheries during the period (6) of 2013-2018 as much 10 Sub-Districts. The sampling method in this research was purposive sampling and obtained 5 samples that met the criteria used in this research, in this research using SPSS 26. The test results from SPSS show that the production value of sea water aquaculture has a tvalue of -0.791 > ttable -2.05553 while a significance level of 0.436 > 0.05. It can be concluded that the value of sea water aquaculture has no effect on the GRDP of the Bintan fisheries sector. Then the production value of fresh water aquaculture fisheries has a tvalue of 3.798 > ttable 2.05553 while a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. It can be concluded that the value of fresh water aquaculture influences the GRDP of the Bintan fisheries sector. Then the production value of capture fisheries has a tvalue of 0.716 < ttable 2.05553 while a significance level of 0.480 > 0.05. It can be concluded that the value of capture fisheries has no effect on the GRDP of the Bintan fisheries sector. Furthermore, the production value of sea water aquaculture, fresh water aquaculture and capture fisheries have a joint effect on the GRDP of the Bintan fisheries sector having a Fvalue of 4.887 > Ftable 2.96 while the significance level of 0.008 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the production value of the independent variables together can affect the dependent variable. The independent variable in this research was able to explain 28.7% of the dependent variable. While the rest of 71.3% is explained by other variables not discussed in this research.
