Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of Training, Job Competence and Work Motivation on Performance in the Tuah Laut Sepakat Fisherman Group in Sawang Selatan Village, Kundur Barat District, Karimun Regency. The population in the study were 43 fisherman in the Tuah Laut Sepakat Fisherman Group in Sawang South Village, Kundur Barat District, Karimun Regency, the number of samples as many as 43 fisherman. This type of research is quantitative research. The validity and reliability test were performed on the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, including t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that partially Training (X1), Job Competence (X2), and Work Motivation (X3) had a significant effect on Performance, where all the variables have a significant positive effect on the Performance. F test results obtained calculated F value of 178.128 with F value of table 2.63 identified that the variables Training, Job Competence and Work Motivation on simultaneously have a significant effect on the Performance variable (Y). Based on the coefficient of determination test, about 92.7% of the variable Performance is influenced by the variables Training, Job Competence and Work Motivation. The remaining 7.3% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study.
