Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of the Family Environment, Entrepreneurial Motivation and Entrepreneurship Knowledge Towards Entrepreneurial Interest in Management Students at the Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) Tanjungpinang. The population in the study was 89 Management Class Students 2017. Sampling with saturated techniques, then the total sample of 65 Management Class Students 2017. The type of this research is quantitative research. The validity and reliability tests were performed on the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, including t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that partially Family Environment (X1), Entrepreneur Motivation (X2) and Entrepreneurial Knowledge (X3) variables significantly influence Entrepreneurial Interest (Y). The F test results obtained the calculated F value of 36.266 with a value of F table 2.755 identifying that the variable Family Environment (X1), Entrepreneur Motivation (X2) and Entrepreneurial Knowledge (X3) simultaneously have a significant effect on the variable Entrepreneurial Interest (Y). Based on the coefficient of determination test, about 62.3% of the variables Entrepreneurial Interest is influenced by variables Family Environment, Entrepreneurial Motivation and Entrepreneurial Knowledge. The remaining 37.7% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study.
