Abstract

This study aims to obtain a partial relationship regarding the Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Market Orientation on Business Performance Through Competitive Advantage as a Variable Intervening Survey in Tanjung Pinang City Micro Enterprises. The independent variable is business performance. Intervening variables are competitive advantages. The population in this study are micro businesses that have a business license that is registered in the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in Riau Islands Province. The sample method used was purposive random sampling, with a total of 48 businesses as samples. This type of research is quantitative. The questionnaire uses a test of validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using normality test, multiolonierity test for heterokedasticity test including t test and analysis of coefficient of determination (R2). This research analysis method uses path analysis. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, competitive advantage have a partial effect on business performance. Entrepreneurial orientation influences business performance, market orientation influences business performance, competitive advantage influences business performance, entrepreneurial orientation influences competitive advantage, market orientation influences competitive advantage, competitive advantage is able to intervene between entrepreneurial orientation influences business performance. competitive advantage is able to intervene in market orientation influencing business performance.
