Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of variable research aimed at addressing the problem that has been formulated. The problem in this research is whether the strategic alliance is a positive influence on competitive advantage. This research provides theoretical and managerial implications regarding the step to be taken by SME Kerupuk Industry in Sei Lekop Village to increase competitive advantage through strategic alliances. The population in this research is SMI Kerupuk Industy in Sei Lekop Village, Eastern Bintan District, Bintan Regency. From the 47 questionnaires that have been dispersed, only 42 return. Three strategic alliance variables simultaneously affect significant competitive advantage. Mathematically the two strategic alliance variables are the ability of a combination of resources, market improvements, there's no significant positive effect on competitive advantage, but improved skills and technologies significantly affect the management of financial management. This research has R2 Adjusted of 51.3%
