PENGARUH INCOME DAN DEPENDENCY RATIO TERHADAP POLA KONSUMSI RUMAH TANGGA NELAYAN PESISIR DI KELURAHAN KAMPUNG BUGIS KOTA TANJUNGPINANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of income and dependency ratios on consumption patterns of coastal fishermen's households. This research is located in Kampung Bugis Village, Tanjungpinang City. The data collected includes primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents who were used as research samples and secondary data obtained from Kampung Bugis Village. The research population found 120 fishermen who are in the village of Kampung Bugis. sample determination was determined by purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used in this research is quantitative. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the variables of income and dependency ratio simultaneously affect the consumption patterns of fishermen's households. The ability of income and dependency ratio in explaining consumption patterns of fishermen's households is 78.1% and the remaining 21.9% is explained by other variables not discussed in this study.
